Product description:
·Compared to honey and other moisture-retentive agents with the same activated substance contests, our product has a better effect of moisture-absorbing and moisture-retention.

· Our product can combine the effective contents in medicine effectively and boost human body’s absorbtion of medicine due to its good water-solubility

· Our product is made from pure natural products and is eco-friendly without any poisonous or harmful substances.

· Our product also works very well when used with other moisture-retentive agents.

How to use:
Our product can be used separately or in combination with other moisture-retentive agents. The operation is simple. Just put it directly into the water tank and it mixes very well with other substances.

Other related information:
The traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) moisture-retentive produced by Tianjin Guigu Science & Technology Development Co. Ltd has very good effect of moisture-retention and it is safe as well. Natural honey was used as moisture-retentive, humectants and moisture bonding agent in TCM industry in the past. Carbohydrate is the main content in the honey. Fructose and glucose together constitute 85%—95% of the carbohydrate content in the honey. Minerals such as iron, copper, potassium, sodium, tungsten, manganese, magnesium, phosphorus, silicon, lead, chromium, nickel and cobalt etc, account for 0.04%—0.06%. In addition there are also vitamin B, vitamin C, nicotinic acid and pantothenic acid in the honey.

Honey is good for health too. Li Shizhen, (1518 – 1593 CE, Ming Dynasty), one of the greatest physicians and pharmacologists in Chinese history, described the medical function and value of the natural honey in his work The Compendium of Materia Medica. The quality of the natural honey is not stable due to its limit output and ever-increasing environmental pollution in recent years. Consequently many companies both at home and abroad have been researching substitute products for natural honey.

Not long ago, ISP company in the U.S. and BASF company in Germany succeeded in developing the up-to-date moisture bonding agents Plasdobe and Kollidon which have been put into the use of preparation of TCM granules. These inventions have dramatically increased the absorption and biological usage rate of TCM products and provided new type of medical subsidiary materials for the production technological process of TCM granules. The disadvantages of the traditional subsidiary materials have been gradually revealed along with the medical preparation are developing toward the trend of highly-effective, quick-effective, long-effective as well as minimum poisons, minimum side effect, minimum dosage. Newly-developed subsidiary materials are becoming more and more common in the application and research of TCM granules production. Moisture bonding agents, diluents and disintegrants are the 3 most representative newly-developed subsidiary materials with different functions and uses.

The function of moisture bonding agents is to boost the moisture and bonding of medicines. Polyvinylpyrrolidone is a macromolecular polymer with steady property and can be dissolved in the water or alcohol as the commonly-used moisture bonding agent for tablets and granules. One of the commonly used ones is PVPK30. In addition, CMC-Na, CMC-Na and PEG etc. are also being tested as the moisture bonding agents for TCM granules.

Sugar, dextrin and starch are traditional diluents. Sugar has certain moisture absorption capacity and it is not good for diabetic, obesity, hypertension, coronary heart disease, dental caries etc. patients to take for a long term. Dextrin and starch do not have a very good effect of solubility. Therefore all those three diluents only have very limited application on TCM granules. Pharmacologists have in succession developed other new type of diluents such as chitosan, lactose, mannitol, and bifidus factor etc. so as to overcome the shortcomings of the traditional diluents and improve the medical adaptability of TCM granules. Xylitol produced by Tianjin Guigu Science & Technology Development Co. Ltd is an excellent product with steady production technological process, specified contents, good moisture-retention and low heavy metal contents. Tastes and effect proved to be improved remarkably after the experiments by several TCM manufacturers.
